Times sure have changed and unfortunately looking your best is no longer a priority for many people. Over the years people have stopped putting an effort into their appearance and looking their best is no longer a priority. Society has become warped into thinking that caring about your appearance is somehow superficial and shallow but doing the opposite somehow you deserve a badge of honor. There's absolutely nothing wrong with being feminine, putting effort into your appearance, and taking a little extra time in the morning or your day to get ready. After all, when you look good you feel good and feminine. When you put the forth the effort of being feminine and then adding fashion into it you're able to hold your head up high and stand confidentially and take on any challenges that arise throughout the day. A boost of self-confidence is all you need.

Aside from good health and nutrition another way you can look good is by dressing the part. Dressing nice and wanting to look your best is a motivation for you to stay fit or get into better shape. Pick out clothes that compliment your body and help you be confident. If you want respect from others, you first should be able to respect yourself well enough to not look like you've given up on life. You also need to be able to read the room the room and embrace a style that makes you feel feminine and classy. Your outer appearance will reflect the way people view you because first impressions and impressions in general do matter especially in the work force. If you are in a business representing someone or a company, they need you take care of yourself first. Showing up to work in sweatpants and sneakers will not look professional and people will view your appearance as sloppy and lazy. It may not seem right to you but that is the reality we live, and reality will not and should not cater to your every emotion. Even if you have your own company or your own freelance business clients want to know the person, they're dealing with is serious, approachable, and professional. Obviously if you have your own business, you can set the tone of the dress code you'd prefer. However, keep in mind once again appearance and neatness counts; business casual is always a good option.
The beauty about fashion more specifically feminine fashion, is that it fits every style out there imaginable and when done right you will turn heads and stand out even though you may not realize it, but you will, and I promise you. If your style is comfort, I can assure you that it can be done in a chic way without looking too comfortable and sloppy. The same thing with modesty and having a quirky style. Any style you think fits your personality can be done in a way in which you feel confident, and people will see that you are serious and that you take care of yourself and will seek advice from you.
Maybe people will even see you as their fashion inspiration and will look to you for advice. It's always a nice feeling knowing that you help someone especially if they're feeling down. You may not agree that fashion and style is important, but it is, and the proof is when you talk to someone who looks like they just rolled out of bed. In my experience those who've looked like they've given up on life is because they really feel that way. What they need in many cases is a boost of confidence and a hard dose of reality. Fashion and make up is not pretending to be someone else but it's here to enhance our God given beauty. You should never waste away the beauty God gave you by hiding it and giving up in life. Once you put effort and look at yourself in the mirror you will begin to feel happier and confident. You may never know who you bump into, and it will increase your chances of getting to know someone and take a risk. If you're already in a position of looking feminine, fresh, and properly groomed instead of feeling self-conscious and pass the chance of what can be something special and possibly life changing.
